The Wednesday Draft
There has been criticism expressed that this blog is simply a repost of other writer’s content. That is absolutely true in the sense that when I find content that is interesting and/or relevant I will readily share it here. I do try to add my own notes on occasion, again where pertinent. I have no delusions of readers hanging on my every word nor am I terribly creative. The latter would seem to contradict the theory that left-handed equals right-brain. I am clearly left-brain dominant.
However, as part of a broadening of the content herein, I am going to begin these “Wednesday Drafts”, hopefully on a regular basis, to add some more personal variety to the site.
Why Wednesdays you might ask? That answer is simple. Historically, Tuesday and Wednesday seem to generate the most readership on many sites, this one included. My explanation for that data point is this.
Monday as the beginning of the week has most of us focused on getting back to work after the weekend. This, of course presumes you aren’t working over the weekend (no comment).
As the week progresses Friday and to some extent Thursday as well, people are anticipating the upcoming weekend and endeavoring to complete their tasks for the week as illustrated by Wednesday’s nickname “Hump Day”. Again with the same presumption as mentioned earlier.
This leaves the middle of the week for perhaps a bit more time to wander from the normal days activities to consume some additional content. So, let’s see how this goes. RB
