Make.com in Production
While working on a large client project with many moving pieces we discovered that running Docuware in an Azure tenant has its challenges.
For example, we have a requirement to copy documents between cabinets and initially decided to use the transfer app based on documents meeting certain criteria. We quickly found out that in an Azure farm of servers (web front end, services and database) the transfer app will not work because of limitations in that environment and the MSMQ service.
Enter Make.com. We quickly incorporated a Docuware web service/webhook with Make.com scenario and voila’, success. We added some routing for error handling in case we didn’t have all the metadata to complete the scenario.
Of course, we’ll need to setup a new Make account for the client (which is really cost effective) but this no code, API app saved the day.
Looking forward to using it in other environments.
