By Clay Wesener – The February 2025 Power Apps feature update introduces significant enhancements to improve developer collaboration and app building. A key highlight is the general availability of Code View, enabling developers to work seamlessly on apps with better visibility and control over code. New governance tools and AI-powered features, such as Copilot for visualization, are also included to help streamline development processes.
Additionally, Microsoft has released Power CAT Tools in public preview, which use AI to generate app documentation and assess risks, helping organizations manage Power Apps more efficiently. These tools are designed to simplify complex app environments and boost productivity.
Finally, the update introduces the ability to create and use custom Power Fx functions, now in public preview, allowing makers to embed reusable business logic within apps.
