Kodak Services for Business this week\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.webwire.com\/ViewPressRel.asp?aId=241737\" target=\"_blank\">unveiled<\/a>\u00a0a <strong>blockchain<\/strong>-based document management platform during a two-day conference in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of <strong>blockchain<\/strong> technology in this document management platform is intended to help businesses, as well as governments, to keep sensitive documents safe and secure. It also claims to offer automated workflows and archiving providing real-time access to records and documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> blockchain <\/strong>technology is also estimated to offer cost savings of upwards of 40% because of its ability to mitigate the loss of data and increase overall efficiencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kodak was one company that surprised many when it announced, at the height of ICO-mania, that it would be running an initial coin offering. This was part of its march to pivot into the blockchain space.
