To make matters worse, one ransomware gang has now created a public Web site identifying recent victim companies that have chosen to rebuild their operations instead of quietly acquiescing to their tormentors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.pixabay.com\/photo\/2012\/04\/25\/00\/33\/anarchist-41384_960_720.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"278\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Less than 48 hours ago, the cybercriminals behind the Maze <strong>Ransomware<\/strong> strain erected a Web site on the public Internet, and it currently lists the company names and corresponding Web sites for eight victims of their malware that have declined to pay a ransom demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRepresented here companies dont wish to cooperate with us, and trying to hide our successful attack on their resources,\u201d the site explains in broken English. \u201cWait for their databases and private papers here.
