Consultancy firm Duff &amp; Phelps predicts that in banking for example regulatory costs will rise from\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/tomgroenfeldt\/2018\/03\/22\/taming-the-high-costs-of-compliance-with-tech\/#6c5d96f25d3f\" target=\"_blank\">4% to 10% of banking revenue<\/a>\u00a0by 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corporate, legal and compliance departments therefore all have a critical role to play in protecting businesses from unnecessary risk and failure.
