An <strong>ECM <\/strong>strategy describes the\u00a0<em>why\u00a0<\/em>in terms of business benefits; an ECM roadmap charts the\u00a0<em>how<\/em>\u00a0in terms of investments in people, processes and technologies.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An <strong>ECM<\/strong> roadmap operationalizes\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/searchcontentmanagement.techtarget.com\/tip\/ECM-digital-document-management-help-energy-company-surge\">an organization&#8217;s <strong>ECM<\/strong> strategy<\/a>\u00a0and defines investment plans for an identifiable time period, such as the next 18 to 36 months.
