{"id":46049,"date":"2021-03-24T03:54:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T07:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cybercon1.com\/?p=46049"},"modified":"2021-03-24T03:54:00","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T07:54:00","slug":"5-priorities-for-the-federal-rpa-community-of-practice-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cyberconservices.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/24\/5-priorities-for-the-federal-rpa-community-of-practice-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"5 priorities for the federal RPA Community of Practice in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Agencies\u00a0plan to\u00a0generate demand and optimize processes for automation in 2021, among\u00a0three other priorities announced by\u00a0the federal <strong>Robotic Process Automation<\/strong> Community of Practice\u2019s executive sponsor on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.pixabay.com\/photo\/2012\/03\/09\/17\/17\/capitol-22546__340.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"658\" height=\"525\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedscoop.com\/tag\/RPA-Community-of-Practice\"><strong>RPA<\/strong> CoP<\/a>\u00a0consists of more than 1,000 employees from 65 agencies\u00a0planning to encourage\u00a0their\u00a0components\u00a0to invest\u00a0resources in targeted automations after standardizing business processes, said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedscoop.com\/tag\/gerard-badorrek\">Gerard Badorrek<\/a>, who\u2019s also the\u00a0chief financial officer at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedscoop.com\/tag\/general-services-administration-gsa\/\">General Services Administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GSA has an \u201cEliminate,\u00a0Optimize and Automate\u201d program Badorrek wants the <strong>RPA<\/strong> CoP to expand governmentwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOne of the first pilots we looked at doing, we realized we could simply eliminate the process,\u201d Badorrek said Tuesday during&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedscoop.com\/tag\/act-iac\">ACT-IAC<\/a>\u2018s Digital Transformation Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>RPA<\/strong> CoP has already released a Federal RPA Program Playbook and State of Federal <strong>RPA<\/strong> Report and is planning to issue an Eliminate, Optimize, Automate Handbook on process optimization later this year.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?rct=j&amp;sa=t&amp;url=https:\/\/www.fedscoop.com\/5-priorities-rpa-cop-2021\/&amp;ct=ga&amp;cd=CAEYCCoTMTQ0OTAyNjIyMDA0OTQ1MTE3NTIaODc5MTAwZmJiYzcxYjA2NDpjb206ZW46VVM&amp;usg=AFQjCNEQRMX2Ms3T4jNJPd6yLW4GyHbt-A\">Read On: <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agencies\u00a0plan to\u00a0generate demand and optimize processes for automation in 2021, among\u00a0three other priorities announced by\u00a0the federal Robotic Process Automation Community of Practice\u2019s executive sponsor on Tuesday.
