But this reluctance to hand over the keys \u2014 of a self-driving car, a business or even missile silo \u2014 betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how AI<\/strong> is designed to work. Too often AI <\/strong>is presented as it is in dystopian fiction, as an overlord, when it\u2019s actually more like a workhorse, <\/em>and a highly effective one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change your mindset, forget about relinquishing complete control, and you\u2019ll soon discover that AI<\/strong> can give you a competitive advantage in areas of your business you barely gave a moment\u2019s thought to before, like the sometimes unglamorous world of invoice processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
